Our Mission
To be a support and collaboration hub that links and develops national and international rare disease expertise and innovation while keeping the patient voice at the centre of all our work.
We aim to increase the quality and quantity of rare disease clinical trials that Irish patients can access by:
- Providing support for rare disease clinical trial design and set-up to researchers, clinicians, industry and patients.
- Making rare disease clinical trials more inclusive by improving trial design and accessibility in partnership with patients and patient advocacy groups.
- Providing education and training for early career researchers in rare disease research and clinical trials.
