About me

Professor Crowley is the Irish lead on two clinical trials; one trial of genetic testing and targeted intervention in Familial Paget’s Disease of the bone, which is a metabolic bone disorder and one assessing therapeutic options for Osteogenesis imperfecta, an inherited skeletal disorder. Both trials are lead internationally by Prof Stuart Ralston from the University of Edinburgh.

 

She is the lead for the Rare Disease Research Catalyst Consortium, funded by the Health Research Board and hosted by University College Dublin.

 

Professor Crowley also runs the rare bone disease service in St.Vincent’s University Hospital which is a national Orphanet clinic and lead adult site in Ireland for ERN BOND.
